Been checking out the spots and new places this year - besides low water levels the critter population sure looks like there up - lot of tracks and runs -- haven't really set for otter in a couple years and until I see the price of fur going up not planning to , sayin that seen a lot of sign and runs looks like there way up on numbers -D-

I personally am having a good season, I'm seeing tons of predator sign just have not masterd that even remotely plus the place with best sign is 45 mins from the house and it's hard to get a ride since the truck was swiped. So I've been setting submerged 330s so I can run 3 day checks and still get the beaver numbers down, that's the key to my close property's all owned by the same man. And as far as duke 330s there all I have and have not found a single one fired without a critter in em, even had a muskrat by the tail in one. I love em

Right at 41 coyotes this month, that is using traps, snares, call/shooting and the plane. 15 red fox snared. Same here with the raccoon not seeing much. Red fox are everywhere and their breeding now.

Well numbers are down this year so far, going into the 3rd week and only bout 30 beaver should have at least 50,haven't seen a big colony yet- biggest so far has been about 12? otter numbers are up [8] only because I been setting extra traps for them.. should have set more in the last place lots of good looking runs -- couple more weeks and will get out of the water and start trappin cat/yotes and ya could blame it on getting old but maybe just slowin and enjoyin it - D- -- count was 34 - 8 otter and 3 rats [330 kills]

Dec. has been good for Coyotes 33 snared and trapped. 3 bobcats, one huge old cat with wide spotted belly. Reds have picked up some 15 here in Dec. 1 Coon. Bunch of swift fox. Plague went thru the prairie dog towns in the south and that has caused the coyote numbers to be lower I think. The sheep ranchers are happy about that.

Keep at it greenboolits you'll get a coyote. Try some of Law Dog's lures or one of TDHP's bait or lures they're great! Here is a link to TDHP's website: tdhpwildlifecontrol.webs.com/bait-lure If you really want to catch those coyotes I'd recommend those coyotes I'd recommend buying any of Charles Dobbin's predator trapping books or DVD's (Dirt Hole Sets and It's Variations, Variations of the flat set, Land Sets & Trapping Techniques etc ,), MarkJune's Coyote Trapping Book and/or DVD or J.C. Connor's Predator Trapping Dirt Hole Sets DVD. All really great products! Good luck catching those tricky 'yotes!
