Will find out what tags I drew next week so I can start to make plans, looks like SD (2-3 tags), WY and WI are on the list so far and I can't wait to get out and do some calling!

Jerry we can get 2 tags over the counter here. I have mine already just waiting for the snow to go and hoping the ticks all died over the winter.

Turkey opens April 20 here and although Mo. has lots of turkeys they aren't in my county... Two bearded birds limit, which is about as many as I see in a year.

I look forward to Turkey season, not happening to soon here in Pa.. My 2nd favorite season is Spring gobbler season. (TRAPPING is 1st). I go out and call for the kids in the area for the youth hunt. I enjoy the look on their faces when they hear that gobbler coming in. I didn't get out last year like I usually do, (work was crazy), but this year is going to be different.

4 days in the Black Hills next week did not make it out this week (waiting on a tag) buddy hunted all of my good spots in the Custer area so I'm heading to Deadwood (high county) 6,500 ft but the snow pack is gone early this year it's usually our mid May hunt when we can get in there most years. By the time it opens up most people are either done or have their tags filled.
