Always liked that store - good quality clothes and hunting/fishing stuff - yesterday call the store to order a sled[ getting old - and packin beav. is startin to hurt] price wasn't too bad anyway but had to drive over to Florence Al. to do the paper work - nope not over the ph.- got home last nite- E-Mail from them , thank you, confermation number then the price-- Free Shipping- BAM - OVER $140.00 more plus the tax ... not hold on a dang minute sucker was 90.00 and taxes wasn't that much -- did a call and found out BULKY -- that means they jab you for shipping-- back up on the dang ticket it states -FREE SHIPPING- ahhh BS- Anybody know were you can pick up a sled to drag beav./traps and stablizers -In Store -in S/W TN.??- Thanks done bitchin -D-

Yes Sir,, but why didn't the nice lady at the counter just tell me that even tho the ticket says free shipping there was a $140.00 mark up? was lucky that I opened up the E-Mail and read it all the way thru-- D-

last year I got a midsized otter, I love it, my buddy got the large otter, he can lay in it an shoot ducks,fill it with decoys an head in the swamp an keep dry, or fill it with beaver

I use the same otter sled great for rats through the ice when we have them!

Tim still trying to find one - IN STORE - around here , or even this part of the country -- wanted that Clam Nortic or a Large Otter ,, going to have to find something or my beaver trapping days are numbered , one place is about 200yrds. from the place I go in to the swamp .. [not far] but figure packin in 330s-- tall stablizers- equipment , bunch of trips right there,, now packin out 1 dang beav at a time and 30yrs ago that wasn't nothing but when you get bout 60 the body just don't like weight/packin .. -D-

I hear ya, you definatly neen a sled, ever then without show its still one heck of a workout, 3or2 beaver outway a deer thenadd your traps. Its a allday affair

Update on this thread .. was talkin to my old deer huntin buddy up north on the way up , and was talkin about this- he shops Bass Pro in Peoria, IL. and then asked if he saw any there -nope - but the local farm store had 3 diffrent sizes -- wow that large otter was big ! too big for me , I got a medium sled [off brand] lite but heavy enough for what I was needing - guess ya need to go north for sleds -D-

Hey D if you teach me how to catch beavers and make turtle soup I'll pull that sled all day for ya...and while I'm there we'll drive over to Florence Al . and let the air outa that lady's tires...unless she aint much of a lady....HA HA

Let me know if yer ever around my part of the country - always doin something , summer is fishin and trappin turtle [only trap about 100lbs on meat] takes a couple days -1 to set a couple nets and 1 to pull .. beav is early season but this yr. going north-D-
