I don't know why but the predators here have stopped moving. Haven't even seen a single track. Might be the weird weather or gun deer season starting, but I don't think it has been like this in past year. Been at it for a week since I got home from vacation and haven't even caught a possum.

Just keep them in the ground. They will come around. Are you on good locations?

Yep my locations are good. I was testing my home made baits there and had fox hitting the holes on the first or second night. At work there is a stretch of gravel road that almost always has fresh tracks and there has been no sign there for a week as well. Seems that they have started moving again. Last night I had two dirtholes visited. Looked like a fox started to work one but was interrupted by the coyote that dug out the side of the set five feet away. No sprung traps so they should be back.

Here the weather is just crazy we had hot weather and storms a few days ago, I almost got hypothermia on Monday due to the cold and rain. This morning I was in the back yard in shorts without a shirt. And when I got to work I had to put on a coat, by tomorrow night it is supposed to be in the lower twenties.I think the predators are just as confused as I am. Put in another set when I got home this afternoon. Hope it pay's off. Need to set one of my other properties this weekend but I like being able to sleep in.

My other location has coon's which I need to be catching, probably the only thing I might make money on this year. I need to get out and set but I have wanted to sleep in. The meat market here is very lucrative. I hope that the fox start to show up,but if not I will at least I have coyote and cat places after deer season is out.
