If you would like to say why that would be great also.

No other reason than I'm used to using a dog and I can generally get the coyote to step exactly where I want them to so it's a non-issue for me

To be fair I only have one dogless trap. While I like the idea of the dogless trap I like the dog on as it is easier for me to make adjustments. Maybe with more experience my choice will change.

The reason I like dogless is because those coyotes chew up the dogs so bad.

I use #3 for yotes and I have not had much of a problem with them tearing up my dogs we have a 24 hour check here in Missouri o I am on them quick......have not really used dogless I will have to get a few and give them a fair shot to see if it makes a difference in my catch and reset.

Ok going to jump in on this - I run both dog on and dogless traps -- and on the dogless traps 3 diffrent brands - dog on traps have a great advantage over dogless on pan tension [set em how you like em ] as for the dog it self a damn yote will eat a standard dog fer lunch , best keep a couple spares in the bag - only 1 dog I use on the yote/cat traps is the PIT round dog it holds up the best -IMO- Bridger has a nice dogless -Montana dogless - ain't and will not discuss that trap [ anyone want to trade a doz. full mod. 4 coil ?].. this year checkin out that Extreme K-9 nice well built trap - STOP - it is a bear - but you are going to have to do some work on the pan - still working on this problem - git the file and hope you don't screw up - so far it's cost me a cat .. saw the track dead center of the trap/pan and that was on DRY peat moss ,, did catch a coon in a set -high catch .. when they go out on the line this time there gettin hit with a file - Glen you thinkin dogless ? how about a couple 3s set up the way I like them - ain't no damn pro just my thoughts -D-

I'm thinking about getting some Bridger #2's that is the biggest trap I can run in Arkansas I'm going to try the dogless but I'm going to swap out factory pan for expand-a-pan's

Arktrap-- I bought the Bridger dogless when they first came out , good trap except the pan was hanging up on the levers.. quick grind job solved that and MB fixed that problem - one thing I also did was put a shock spring on them .. I think it really helped on the pull outs - JUST MY THOUGHTS -D-
