Nice cool day this morning in michigan.. mid 70
K9traps and stake have been cleaned and hanging for about 2 weeks now..
Liquid logwood dye showed up yesterday.
Might just take advantage of the coolness and fire up
I pre made 12 sets along my dug out creek
Already has coon/fox/yote sets in the fresh dug up soil
So I jumped in with volleyball sized rocks for backers. Punched holes and did some prelim work on trap beds.
I also sunk 4 tubes in the ground 2 high and 2 low hoping mink will move through. I stuffed them with bird seed and straw hoping to attract mice
The tubes are about 6" down and run horizontal so mink can enter 1 end and leave the other
My plan was to test some new RBG I picked up that fit nice inside this plastic field tile...
My august weekends are pretty much booked. With some Veteran obligations coming down the pipe. So I have rest of july a few days in august and sept to be ready for oct 10
