Just got my One hand trap setters from Mr. David Sheldon Jr in Vermont WOW my son can set his TS-85's super fast and safely so dad won't have to be standing beside him setting traps for him now we can divide and conquer lol

Love that they have a conibear style safety it would suck to take a spring steel rod to the face lol

Thought they were a gimmick then I bought a set and they are in my bucket at all times on the line, makes setting MJs a breeze and easier to set the pans. Love them things.

I think I just watched a video of that same setter. A frame the trap sets in with a D handle you minipulate to set the trap??
Need something like that for them #4 jumps I have. I get whacked in those atleast 3x a season

It's 2 handle set up for the MJs they hook on the springs and you bring one under to the trap and you can hold both levers with one hand and do settings/adjustments no problem. Makes setting a no loose jawed trap a breeze to set safely. The problem I had setting MJs was I had to set them with my feet and with winter clothing on a guy cannot breath bending over to set the pan. They are a tough trap to set in deal conditions now add mud, unleveled ground, ice and the fight is on. Save me a lot of unneeded wear and tear on them longer days.

As for Dave's setters- 1 pair stays in the truck and 1 pair for the line at all times -D-
