I died and waxed 4 dozen traps about 4 weeks ago. I still have to paint water traps, sift the peat moss. I still have waxed dirt so I won't have to make any this year. Met up with the owner of one of the Orchards I trap rats at. He asked me if I was going to get the rats out the ponds again this year. "The little #^%$# are swimming and digging everywhere". This past week at my place the yotes are howling and carrying on. Can't wait for the season to start... Good Luck to All..

Wow you guys are so prepared. I'm always behind on everything. Lol. Still have wood to split for winter. I got a dozen Duke #2 square jaws in today. I'm going to try and get them ready to put in the ground this weekend. I like the Duke traps but dam the chan on them suck ! Will be replacing them tomorrow.

I put my stuff up clean when season closes and that helps a lot. With that said, I am still finding stuff needs to be done. Missouri starts in 2 weeks.

Been working all summer getting ready. Traps dyed, snares built, procrastinated a little on bait making but was on track. Then it happened, I went to make snare extensions and cable stakes. I thought I had bought some double ferrules in the spring I was wrong. Now I am waiting on my ferrules to come in. Should be here on Thursday so I still have time as our season doesn't start till the 20th.
