Well we went to grandma farm today that long hard 5 min drive from the house 😂 while my boy fished I went and dug few deep dirtholes and poured cheap dry cat food and bacon/ hamburger grease mixed with a little BTO so hopefully in few days those dirt hole get blown out by digging

I found prebaiting to be a big waste of time and expenses. If you know your target animal and select good locations you'll use his weaknesses to catch him. That fresh dirt at dirt holes or the new different smell at a flat set has proved to me over the last 47 years of canine trapping to be a big advantage. In this day of high fuel costs I believe your better served to scout and get permission for new areas to trap in. When was the last time you heard a trapper say "Gee I have way too much fur and permissions".I have driven real close to an hour to start setting then checking traplines. There was a high enough canine population to pay for the extra expense of travel. I'm not going to apologize I'm just nuts enough/addicted enough to trapping to set as many traps as I can on good sign or locations Bill

Boss man my ticker acted up.I was in and out of hospitals for a lot longer than I wanted it ended up an allergy to a medication. They got that straightened out.I was recently a passenger in an auto accident that "messed up" my right arm.I have been scheduled for the "last" surgery on that arm November 27th. So far the surgeon has been able to correct, surgically, everything he's done to me/for me. I still can't throw a split finger fast ball 91 miles an hour but I never could before.Smile.It has been a treat to be able to get on and post.
