Hi everybody, my name is Bob and I live in central, NY. I do some trapping here around home and I try to make it up to the Adirondack foothills, where I'm originally from, for a week or two each fall. I never got into it on a big time basis like some of you guys and I only trap on a small scale these days, but I still love it and I don't see myself quitting, regardless of fur prices. if you don't mind a gimpy trapper and amature lure maker hanging around, I'd like to drop in and say hi and see what's going on from time to time.
Thanks,
Bob

Thanks for the welcome Ohio, I appreciate it. I'm glad to see that you're back. How's the eye? I went through the stent thing last year, but so far so good with the eyes. What exactly do they do for that, if you don't mind me asking?

Well they empty out your eye and laser it back together. The first time they filled it with Nitrix Oxide. This time Silicon oil. I have to have another surgery to remove the oil. I hope you never have to go through it. Thanks

Oh man, that sounds rough. I'm sorry to hear it and I hope it takes care of the problem for ya. None of the surgeries I've had were any fun, but I think I'd rather go through them again than I would that. It's tough to keep a trapper down, but they sure do try. We'll keep you and your family in our prayers here in NY.

Thanks for the welcome bobo, I appreciate it. The name is fitting, I'm an amature lure maker and I tend to smell like a combination of skunk, glands and various rotted down things, at times.LOL
I've only been here for a couple days, but I love this place already. The people here are top shelf and there's a ton of good info. Thanks again.

I live alone.Probably because my house and garage smell like a lure shed.
