^^that may be confusing if you are new to long spring traps but a double spring #1 is a #11, a double #1 1/2 is a #2, 2 1/2 is a single spring- a double #2 1/2 is a #3, 3 1/2 is single and the double is #4 The jaw spread is stepped up on the half size and the second spring brings a whole number size with no increase in jaw spread. Coils are sized just by jaw size and there really is no standard in sizes from one manufacturer to another, so the brand almost needs to be included in a description. #3 Bridger coil is ~ the same as other brands #4s.

I’ve got an older victor 1-1/5 stamped on the pan and it’s a double long spring I maybe goofy but I love how a double long spring beds a old trapping buddy he’s been a mentor to me gave me that trap rigged with a drag told me it was the best trap he ever used for Fox

Could be a added spring or they changed out the pan maybe the #2 L/S is a great trap just takes a bit more to bed in some places but for water trapping or sandy soil they rock!
