Not there yet for hides, but looking better. Little female got too close to the lambs. Most sheepmen are shipping lambs on the 15th of this month. Going to take the 16th off.

Been cool and overcast for a few weeks here my chickens are going to bed early most days should put them ahead of schedule this season starting with cages about then too and will work the yote sets in after that when the bird hunter migration is over. No birds but plenty of hunters is seems most got smart and come later in the season rather then all coming the 1st 2 weeks.

Every year they debate about when they prime up and if weather has much to do with it I know it's daylight that starts it off and the shorter days but it must be a combo of both as nobody can give a exact date based on sunlight alone! LOL
Abby my skunk got her winter coat early this year and the skunks I have been picking up are looking good to me will skin out a ADC skunk and coon today and tomorrow and see what they look like on the other side of the pelt.

I wonder if there are really any pure bred yotes and wolves in most areas.
