Was checking and hanging more snares today. I had 26 coyotes and a bunch of knocked down snares, probably the wind. The guy I have skinning for me was ecstatic to get the coyotes. No Bobcats yet but I don't really expect any. I'm not even close to cat country. I would really like to find a guy/girl close to me to teach trapping/snaring canines, water critters, etc. I don't expect any money. I just would like to pass on 53 years of trap line experience. The last 30 some years I've been focused on catching and killing coyotes. Every fall during the fur season I have 3 spring creeks close by. I set a few pocket sets for mink and catch some real big bucks with the other mink, rats and coons. I've taken instruction from John Graham, Gary Jepson and James "Jimmy Jay" Halseth. Each time I went home and made changes as to my equipment and where and how I set trap locations. to be continued

Fixin to pass on what little I know to a youngster in a couple weeks .. him and his dad came over to the fur shed - never answered so many questions [from the both of them] - anyway over 1000 acres of cat/yote property never been trapped -D-
