I dont know that i could ever summerize deer camp or deer season any better then "Da Yoopers" if you dont know who they are, youtube them. Look for Da Turdy Point Buck, Da Turdy point buck II, 2nd week of deer camp. i could try but i think they cover just about every good line known about the "secrets" of deer camp. lol

"My Mentor"
"Watch your step" he said as he chuckled. As i tripped on a log and fell to the ground. His voice echoed through my head As it started to pound. He taught me to understand the outdoors. How to live WITH it, not in it. He said stop moving so fast. if something moves, you might miss it. His lessons of trapping, hunting and fishing, Were simple lessons of life That some people are missing. I thank the lord every day for my blessing, And the time that was spent when he was around. doing the things that required no stressing. Everything that I do in my life still today Takes me back to his words that I heard each day. As I lay on the ground after I fell once again, I still hear his laughs and his words in my head.

"Living the Dream"
I love my life of rich and fame, no bills to pay or good deals to claim. With last weeks earnings a bought a new truck I feel bad for the people that are down on their luck. Those who work hard for their checks or their cash As i let my money blow right off the dash. My traps are always full of the best graded fur. And when i walk in the sale you can hear a mouse stir. By the truck loads they haul in my catch just in time for the greatest bidding match. its started at millions and got up to billions. but i finally smiled when they got into the trillions. Nobody had ever seen such a sight Of a trapper like me standing in the spot light. Now as i sit on this stump and think in my head. "That was a good dream and i aint even in bed"

"Trapping Fool"
I get to bed at 12 and wake up at 4 I put on my boots and head out the door. I spend 100 dollars a week in gas to check all the traps that critters walk past. the fields are slick and covered in muck it flings up and covers my truck Fox are all mangy and the beaver aint prime all this line does is take up my time. My diet consists of gas station food coon have a better diet, to bad their fur is still blue. i walk in the rain, snow, and the cold i am loosing my mind, so i am told. But i love what i do and i think its cool cuz i am a dedicated Trapping fool.
