You are going to get so many responses lol but hey thats why there are a lot of different brands. I have a Mathews Switchback and I have shot a lot of different brands and Mathews feels the best for me... therefore, I believe they are the best.

I shoot a PSE Firelight mainly because the price was right when I got it 3 yrs ago. It keeps the meat in the freezer. I look at Martins and Mathews, the specs and looks of them look good but I can't justify paying the $'s for them for no more than I shoot to keep the freezer stocked.

I shoot a Bowtech Allegiance. Had it for almost 5 years. Very happy with it. Prior to that I had a Mathews 3-D hunter for 9 years. Shot lots of deer with it. Prior to that I had a Jennings Forked Lightning for I think 9 years. Prior to that was my first compound bow a Little John made by a company called Robin Hood. I had that bow 9 years. I try to buy a new bow every 9 or 10 years. The Mathew 3-D hunter was I believe 1 of Mathews first models. After I bought my Bowtech My 1 son took it and used it for 4 years and shot deer every year with it. I think all the bows that they make are good the main thing is that it fits you right and if you can get it set up by a shop or some one that really knows what they are doing. Then just practice and practice some more. Also only take shots that are close and the right angle. Even then it doesnt always work out!

I am personally shooting the Hoyt Rampage XT right now and love it. I know a lot of people who shoot mathews, but i like to be a bit different and prove to them that they are a groupie at times LOL. For a cheaper price, I am shooting about the same speed as the other other bows my buddies are shooting. The best part i keep telling them is that accuracy kills not that speed!!

06 Bowtech Tribute. Love the thing. Next year I will be out with my new Flatlands Longbow, that ought to be exciting. I kind of like it better than the Tribute to be honest.

The wife and I both shoot Hoyts I started at 15 with a PSE and at 17 bougth a Hoyt and been buying them ever since, Not saying its the best bow out their but I have had great luck with them and they shoot well. The only reason i would buy a Matthews is because if somthing on it broke i can get the parts that day which is a big plus

Killed my first deer with a bow 10 years ago with a Bear Alaskan, still hunt with it although I'm thinking I might be ready for a new one this year. Before that had a PSE (Piece of Sh*t Equipment) and it was, but that was more than 10 years ago
