If I was going use a replacable blade I would go with a Muzzy or a Thunderhead. I am a hardcore traddy. I prefer Centaur big game heads myself. But they do require sharpening. Mechs may work amazingly. But they also fail spectactularly. And the Atom is the bigges POS, junk gimmic of a broadhead I have ever seen. Fits right in with the Browning serpentine. I am getting tired of finding or tracking deer that have been shot with cheap junk heads.

I shot stick bows for years and liked fixed 2 blades like Zeickey and sniffers. Went to compound and shot 2 blade but had planing issues and went to 100gr muzzy 4 blade. I dont know how many i killed with maize, deer at least 50 or so. I shot muzzy from '02-'11 then i had ethical issues with muzzy. I know a spokesman of theirs, hes not what he seems. Long story. I switched after some experimentation to 100gr Viper Venoms, i now shoot them in my crossbow i had to switch to last year. These are deadly, no wind planing, massive wounds and blood trails. Good on turkey too. I killed 9 or so turkeys with Muzzy but turkeys arent numerous here now. On our farms and hunting leases we dont allow mechanical heads, been too many headaches with them BUT we are reconsidering that rule pertaining to Rages. I keep hearing goo things and only know a couple of archers that dislike 'me.
