How many out there enjoy predator hunting as well as trapping.I will admit to having a calling addiction.

I would really like to get into it. I see some predators while in the stand some nights...I should try it this year.

I did some, didn;t get anything though, called in a wolf, almost out of the woods, but I quit about 2 minutes to early, I saw its tracks (about 4 1/2 inches wide) about 40 yards from clearing that I was hunting in the woods, I called for about a half hour, but it was -10 and I was stinking cold and couldn;t sit there any longer, and the thought of a 5 mile snow machine ride kinda made my want to go away, but dang, I wish I would have stayed!

I have gone back to hand held mouth calls as the local guys have been using the electronic calls a lot. I feel it gives me the advantage as I can make different call sequences on the fly.

Predator hunting is something that has truely taken over in me. I have an obbsession when it comes to calling in coyotes. I rarely fur hunt anymore. I mainly do tournaments now across ND. However with the price of fur starting to rise a little, i might hunt one or two less tournaments and hunt for fur again. Since i started recording my own sounds, I can't remeber the last time i blew on a mouth call. The calls are always on my kneck, but rarely get blown anymore. My favorite state to call in, would have to be the northern half of montana!! When i walk over to the edge of a nice hill and see nothing but a sage flat, i feel like i am at home LOL.
