Well I got home from work, and there was a package in my mail box that had a nasty note attached! I just sent the package yesterday!! So my question is, how do go about shipping it through the post office. I have shipped it before, with no problems. I think the post office is catching on LOL!

I have jars that fit in jars and then ziplock and trash bag, tie and ship for small amounts, I do the last couple bags away from the shed to avoid picking up the odor on the package. When I ship a larger amount the same "jar in jar" then in a coffee can (plastic) fill with dirt and tape, trash bag and ship!

pint , quart or gallon metal paint cans filled with dirt ... put the individual bottles into plastic bags to keep dirt off of them ... cover with dirt, surrounding containers ... seal can, box and ship ... no odor
I would suggest wrapping the caps with electrical tape ... this actually slows down a lil smell plus insures the lids stay put
been up at Ardell Grawes place and all he did was put it (glass bottle) in plastic container filled with cedar shavings and add a few drops of mineral spirits or thinner then sealed up ... that was a first for me

For small bottle you can dunk the cap end in hot wax a few times. seals pretty good, but I'd still do the double container to avoid any breakage.

Thanks for all the relpies!! I am trying to keep it as light as possible for shipping reasons, so i am testing some coffee grounds right now to see if they will do it. So far it's been working. Usually when i shipped skunk essence, it was sent normal mail, but showed up to the guy almost the next day!! I guess when something is foul they ship it a little faster LOL!

I ask my postmaster about it and she said ship it by UPS and as the guys above say,any of those ways is great, but the regular postal mail they can and might file charges against you, cause she read me a paragraph out of the postal code that prohibits "odorus"things, now that come out of her postal guide.Larry Gene Pate
