Has anyone ever tested products like axes, broadheads, arrows, etc. How do you field test it? Do they give you a list of things to do with the product. Or do you just tell them what you've used it for, how well it put up with what you did, how well you liked it etc. How do you get the product to field test it? Just ask the company if they have something to field test, or what?

People in that industry what ever the product know who the people are that use a product under the conditions they want them tested in or beyond. In the outdoors there is a Outdoor Writers Asso. that gets either a product to test for free and write about or at a reduced cost to them to try it. In the trapping world there are many talented trappers that are known around the country that get to test products on a smaller scale.
