Well here is a video of me skinning a coyote. If you have any thoughts, questions or ideas to add to the thread please do so. On average when i am just trucking along, it takes me roughly 4-5 minutes a coyote. I know when my buddy and i skin a hot one together when out calling, it is rouhgly 2 minutes or less On the bottom right corner of the video player you can click ont he button to make the video full screen if it is too small for you. Same here.. The only thing I do different is I pull the legs down with pliers, it saves my hands from extra work. I can usually pull half way down the hind quarter before I have to start using my hands... Great Video!

trapwv - i will look when i get home tonight, but i think it is 3" channel. I really don't know what the angle of them are bent up at. I would think they are around 30 degrees or so.

Chris, your fur handling vids are very nice. I'm sure they will help people out for years.

I would have to say the angle is around 30 degrees. Not quite a 45. I don't think the angle is real critical, but the steeper it might be better as it will pull down harder. I am looking at building one that is the same concept but doesn't pivot so easy. I will know more after using it for part of the season.
