As some of you may know, I'm new to fur handling. This may be a stupid question but was wondering if someone could explain how to make a window on a coon. I always figured you punctured the belly and bring your knife to the bottom... but not sure. Any help would be appreciated and pics would be great!
Thanks.

Lee Steinmeyer showed us at the kansas trappers convention in a demo, he cuts up the top of the foot of the rear legs to the knee joint, then straight accross to the other cut, he showed us by doing this it adds alittle length to the hide and you dont have to cut and inspection window, it already there
