So I just bought some new Bridger 1.5 cs's. When you go to set the trap and push the levers down they catch on the trap base just above where the jaw tips enter . This makes it a pain to set. What's the best way to fix this? Can I just take a grinder to it and remove enough metal to make it set easier? Or is there a better fix?

you can try sticking a screw driver thru the hole in the spring lever(where the jaws come thru) and twist the lever a bit.

I struggled with the new Bridgers for a couple of days, then it hit me..I am ashamed I didn't see it sooner. The spring pin tends to back out of position, and the pan side jaw makes contact with it.. This prevents the jaw from going down all the way.. Simply bump the pin in a fraction, it moves easily, and all is well.. Minor problem. Jerry
