I bought some new bridger 1.75 trap a couple months ago and nite latched them (the dog) but now my pan tension is to light. What do I need to do now to create more pan tension.

night latching shouldnt have any thing to do with pan tension...night latching is used for minimum pan creep before the trap fires....now if your pan isnt level with the frame of the trap it could cause the trap to misfire...all you need to do is tighten the pan bolt if they have one...im not too familiar with the 1.75 bridger....if it has the pan on the spring lever you will have to bend the dog to increase or decrease the pan tension.

Um...those traps are already night latched from the factory, the little bump on the dog accomplishes the same thing as a nightlatch.
