First post, be gentle... haha Looking to set up my traps for coon this year. Plan to trap mainly pocket sets and some PVC sets. Plan on stakin these where the animal cant get out of the water. I set these up so I could remove the bottom section and use the swivel on a cable at a drowner if I wanted to. Other mods planned are chew guards and MAYBE base plating. Thanks. PS could someone PM me the password for the cave?

I like your middle set up the best except your swivels are on backwards. You want to run a j-hook through the ovrlapped part of the swivel so that it does not pull apart around the stake.
With that middle set up you can remove 2 sections of chain and have a very short chain set up for drowners. Thats what I like about that set up. The 3rd set up looks like you have the chain hooked directly to the cross frame, which personally I wouldnt reccomend. Especially with dukes as they are just. connected to the main frame with a couple of spot welds. That could result in broken traps and lost traps and/or animals. Just my 2 cents for what its worth.
