I have bought and tried a few and the best one so far has been a POST , just got it this last year and put up a few hides and its still as sharp as the day I got it -- Warning .. if you buy one you will cut yourself was doing good till the end of season and it started sliding off the bench , just a little cut but could have been worse - my 4 grizz getters did a little clean up and my other 2 fleshing knives sat on the wall , -D-

made my own because i don't buy anything I can make myself and it works just fine SO HOW DID YOU MAKE IT lawnmower blade, thin the ends down to fit handles, grind to shape, temper, sharpen. I'm a knife maker so I already had all the tools etc to make one without a whole lot of trouble
