Got to feed something I guess. I went out and bought 4. Two full Boers , a Boer X Kiko, And a full Kiko crossed onto a full Boer. She will probably drop middle of next month or so.

Yes, I lost money raising hogs so I thought I would see if I can do it again with goats.

goats are alot of fun. years ago my mom raised minature goats, they were crazey, they would break out of there pen and come in the house. as I rember she done pretty good with them. good luck and let us know when she drops!

I raised them for about the last 5-6 years , just broke even but they kept the weeds down on the hill side - had to get rid of them because the neighbors damn ducks were poopin in the water tank and they kept getting scours - damn drugs were about breaking me - BTW anyone want 60-70 damn muscovies? great fertilizin machines for drives and concrete -D-

If I break even I will be happy. Ag taxes are a lot lower.

Should do a little better then break even .. my break even was taking off for fence-posts-gates-water tank and hay[ya we spoiled the SOBs] LMAO-D-

I was never around goats,but I worked on ranches in Montana with 4 or 5 hundred sheep. that sure was interesting when the spring came. we spray painted the ewes and lambs the same color so we could match them up.Some days their were 10 or more ewes with 20 lambs running around. If some weren't matched up,we gave them to kids to raise and hand feed. called them bum lambs.

thats a good deal, them goats sure are funny sometimes. I think I'll stick to gardening and my 3 cat for now
