I confess I hate and avoid going to the dentist until there is a problem.... I chewed tobacco for a long, long time when I was younger.I'm experiencing what happens with that whole experience.Had a back molar split in two yesterday exposing the nerve. My dentist was in his Aberdeen office so I trotted on over to Aberdeen and sat in line.I had no appointment. He squeezed me in on his lunch lunch break. After looking at the X-Rays and talking to him it was obvious the tooth needed to be extracted a root canal wouldn't work in his opinion . I have no idea what he gave me for the pain but it was a painless extraction,no discomfort.I have no idea what he "gave" me but I'm still pain free 6 1/2 hours later. I'm going to trap the raccoons and skunks off the two sloughs he duck hunts on as a thank you.Bill
