D my regular season opens 15 Oct for coon and everything else on the 25th. Coyote and fox open year round here in southern Ontario. I've been getting my fix doing the odd nuisance job for the past couple months. Those Oct dates are still too early for good prime fur so I probably won't get started until sometime in Nov.

I have been getting traps and stuff ready for a while. I am doing a demo tonight at the local trappers council on cable restraints as we can now use them here

Just dyed a bunch of traps and am derusting a few. Got to wait til the end of November and it's driving me mad. Hopefully I can get a wco (wildlife control operator, Louisiana's adc) license in a few years and do it full time.

Got a few dozen traps dyed/waxed. Still have to make some more waxed dirt. Had a scrap food pile out most of the summer, got 5 grey fox coming in . 14 coon, some huge grinners, and 4 skunks,2 coyotes. I will have the wife post some pic's for me.( I still don't get this computer stuff.) Can't wait for the season to start.
