What's the entrance made from.. we stripped a whole corn crib of 1x2 fencing and made a pile of square colonies. And was curious if the opened up some plastic funnels or formed from aluminum flashing??
Would like to build a form and attempt a few

Mine are the same wire. At an angle. yes but the those formed to be a tunnel. Online picture looks like a cone of some sort with a single wire inside cone to eliminate backing out

I have some made of wide roof flashing and some made from aluminum facia metal. The facia metal is white on one side dark on the other, i thought this might give an optical illusion that theres light at the end of the tunnel, also had some with reverse colors....never saw a great enough difference to discern if color mattered

Mine are plastic funnels that I use, they take the button "clips" like on a 4 wheeler fender to hold 2 pieces together. 12" round by 36" long as big as we can go here no need for a block wire or screen they work without it but it might mean a extra rat or two. I was at the Vet last week getting the skunks shots and seen a pattern for them plastic no scratch collars/cones that might be a sweet pattern to use. Attachments:
