Well guys my dad was my hero growing up. I ran his small trap line with him when I was 7-8 yrs old we was always hunting and fishing as we both got older I still hunted and fished like a mad man but Dad was working to raise are family I always loved hearing him talk about being in high school in late 70’s and the money he was making trapping and his favorite trap was a #2 jump trap.Well he was killed in a car wreck 3 years ago at the age of 54.I found a strong #2 jump the other day. so when my traps hit the ground I’m putting in my Dad set with that #2 got to find one more for my son so he can make his Pop set that way we have Dad on the line with us

I grew up through those times and they where great times. And I used my share of jumps. I loved the 0 jumps for muskrats. Small compact light trap. I had a few #1 but nothing bigger in a jump.

Hey now I love antique shops I find stuff in them that was made to last not this throw away junk made nowadays always looking for old traps and 70’s rock albums plus I can’t get you boys that’s been trapping for a few seasons to give up the good traps like the victor #0 DLS I’ve been looking for

Wish our antique shops had better prices on traps. I know where two#3 Victor long springs are sitting but they want fourty bucks each. They also have #1 longs for about $15, unless it's broke then about$10.
