There have been some questions about China's tariffs on fur. There have been some rumors circulating that it is as high as 50%. This is not the case. Here is the scoop on China tariffs:
Confirmed that all wild fur species are at 20%, except red and grey fox that are at 10%, which matches ranched fox.
NAFA has been diligently working for two years to get the tariffs down, along with the International Fur Federation. This includes putting on workshops for Customs officials in China to educate them on wild furs.
This is an on going campaign and we are hoping for some success in the future. Will bring you more information if there are changes.

We are still doing a bit more research. The China tariffs in retaliation to Trump imposed tariffs may add more tariff to American furs or may have already. It is definitely higher on American finished fur products.

I think the same tariffs apply to all furs imported, not distinguished as one or the other. If different I will advise.
