Hi all, new here. Used to trap a lot in high school years ago but then took a break for a few years. A few years ago was diagnosed with MS and had to quit work. Doc said I needed to get outside, stay active and keep my mind occupied. What better way than to get back into trapping. Still had most of my equipment but discovered real quick like on how out dated I was on theories and techniques. Last year was my first year back at it and didn't do too bad. This year I haven't done as well but did manage to make a few catches of critters I've never targeted before. Got to meet a lot of great people and made a few new friends. Decided to expand last summer and started trapping pocket gophers for some of my neighbors and didn't do half bad. That's a win win as people have found out about me and now have more places to trap next season. Looking forward to spending some time on this site!
