do you guys check your setts before or after your school day? me and my trapping partner check them before. seem to get less animals out that way.

I would check in the morning if it is k9s but if you water trapping use drowners and check after school.

My father and I always check at 4:00am we usally have about 30 sets out. Also I agree I think it prevents escaped animals.

Personally it depends on what day it is for me. For example, on mondays and tuesdays I check right after school because my college schedule, only has one class on those days and that is from 8 - 9 40 am, so I check right after. Now on the other days my latest class goes till noon but starts at 11 am so then I just check my sets before class. Fridays I dont have class so that makes it easier.

I'm home schooled (can we get a collective Yehaw!?) so I check them after chores, mostly I am gone all "day" from daylight til dusk, which around here is from 10:00 AM till 3:00PM , them I do school at night.I like it that way

well, mom says we have to get 5 lessons of every thing done, but since I am WAYY ahead in school my junior and senior year I will be doing more of a life skills think, like, trappin, mechanics (my brother is a mechanic) building and farming (my dad is a carpenter and mechanic and he used to be a farmer down in Oregon before we moved ) me and my dad sorta run a little farm, we have a few steers a horse and a few acres of corn, straw berries and stuff like that that we sell at farmers markets. and I used to work on a farm, but he went bankrupt cause the dairy wasn't payin, and we built our house and barn and greenhouses from scratch we even did the electrical plibming and septic our selves, and we cleared our fields, so I know how to run a chinsaw, and skidsteer and bulldozer and that kinda stuff, and so I know a little bit. and stuff like that that will actually help me in life instead of algebra 2 and that crap. and mom is teaching me how to cook and stuff it comes in hady alot, my grandpa is teaching me ho to live off the land
