Has anyone ever convert the #2 Montgomery Dogless into a high lever trap? I think i have seen where someone (cattrax?) convert a #3 or #4 into a high lever...
Just wondered if this could be done with athe #2 as well.

You can change the levers using high levers from birdger if I remember right. You can also use a die grinder and cut out the existing levers. thing the jaws a bit and come out with a high lever trap. I have done this to no2 square jawed victors also. I also added lever extentions for easier setting.

I mess with them some. Stock monty#2 dogless. Same trap with lug offset, bridger levers,3/16th lams and baseplated. The catch. Or you can let Jason do them for you.

Yoteguts, do your prefer the 1/4 lams over lighter material? looks like a good coyote trap with the high levers.

#2 size traps I like 3/16th lams. #3 traps I like either 1/4" outside lams or my favorite is inside and outside 3/16th lams.
