Skin some beaver and make sure they're dry... I hook the head on the beam, and do the middle of the back (worst) first. I try to rip a little relief on each edge of the beam first, like this....... And clean up the hind end in the process.... Then I put it on the beam nose down and do the cheeks and head. Just seems to work better for me this way... Then, working from the middle out to the edges, I roll the easy stuff off, like this.... And it leaves it nice and clean, like so..... Finally, I put the head back on the nose of the beam and sort of squee-gee of the white, liquidy fat. Also cleans up the pelt too.

Well done and great post!! I will be making a video on this same subject when i have time to do it. Do you have any problems with the pelt wanting to fall off the beam to one side or the other as you flesh?

I pinch it with my hip pretty good.
Guess after I do the middle of the back, I try and work everything to the outside.
Don't know if thats the best way, but its been working ;D

nice job, I tried rough skinning beaver, but found the fleshing very difficult, so I clean skin beaver, beaver is the only furbearer that I clean skin.
