Walkercoonhunter. I talked to the man in charge of PA about that law. He said he did not even know about the Alcatraz when he wrote it. Over the phone he guaranteed me no one in Pennsylvania would be arrested for using the Alcatraz.

One thing you need to check on the alcatraz's is there there appears to be a weld line or something on both sides of the trap on the inside that needs filed smooth as it can interfere with the operation of the door.

Think I found the real reason for the door being slow/refusing to close on the Alcatraz. The bolt that holds the door/spring mechanism appears to be too tight on the traps that dont want to fire, which binds the door. I think a 7/32 socket is what I do to loosen it back up.

I guess they could be over tightend but they where designed that it s hould not matter. The weld line if to big could interfear with the closing.

There was one or two that I got that they were tightened to where the frame was bowed in slightly just enough to cause the door to bind. Didnt really take much of a turn with a socket to get it free the door back up.
