Talked to one of the NAFTA reps at the NTA,I told him if they change board sizes they need to inform the trappers before they start putting up fur...He told me that if you use a standard otter board on a xxl otter all they do is drop 1 size on the grade,they do not dock you,as posted on t-man as long as you stay with the size boards we been running for yrs their is NO PROBLEM,AND NO DOCK ON YOUR FUR...

Yes them new otter board sizes are only for very large otter you get in eastern Canada and Alaska. Like this baby here: This is not a overly big otter for around here. I only use the standard board, always get good grade assuming prime and no damage or singe.

eastern NC has them xxl asd xxxl also! 6 otter day! wife helping out! another reason i use only belisles!!!

I bust a few every yr that would go on them boards,and I checked all over at the NTA and nobody was selling a board over 8in
