Nice web site. I'd say I'll be replacing my 1/2" auger for one of your 3/8" this summer as well.

walker have you thought of making a augger like the coon cuff augger in your size auger. many of us don't carry a drill.i tried that three times and the drill would not stay charged. yep heavy duty drill ,brand new.

bill yes i have thought about it...but shipping would be a killer..because of the length...so the only real place i could sell them would be at the conventions i attend...shipping is a killer for us small independant guys...we have to keep our prices lower than most because we cant get a bulk discount like the major companies do....

Could make one with a two piece design?.. I have a used a two piece ice auger and it was slick but the hole it made was too big IMO..

walker maybe to a kit were you weld or like forrest said a two piece with threads. even if the bit was a few inches longer with a t welded on would work in most cases.
forrest that works very well for big holes for cats .lol

Ladies, gentlemen, and Mini - Lanes trap mods and and custom supplies has an auger for making dirtholes that i think everyone should try!! The product is going to last a lifetime, and the transaction will be as smooth as MTP or F&T! I wouldn't hesitate to purchase any of their products!
