I was hoping these higher prices would stay on the downlow, but everyone has access to internet these days and well that alone will trigger those kind of responses. I called Dusty right after i saw this and told him he better get a little better security system in the fur shed because now people have seen how much money is sitting inside that building. The only good thing that i know about Dusty, is that his finished goods are in a completely different location than his raw goods. At least he is smart enough to do that! The main reason Dusty decided to do this new interview was to make a buisness move. If i were to put myself in his shoes i would have done the same thing. Free advertising!!! I personally feel the video was at least tasteful and not a big sobb story about some poor animals.

lyonch i agree it was good for a business move...at least for advertising...but im looking at it the same as you...i hope he understands that the antis are watching and i really dont know if i would chance it on national TV showing as much as he let them....
that news anchor did a wonderful thing announcing about the kids workshops at the end also....it was a very tasteful/professional presentation for us trappers and predator hunters....

Chris, I have Dusty's beaver video, he is a great guy. Hard working american as well! Nice positive TV clip : ) I am always giving dusty crap for that video LOL! Whenever i see him, i alway ask him for his autograph and he just giggles and gives me the bird LOL. He really wishes he would have had more say in the editing because he said there are a lot of small mess ups he would have taken out. Dusty is a hard working SOB! When his main skinner left him right in the middle of spring rat season last season, it made him do more overtime than he cared to do. Between trapping and buying rats while in SD last spring i know Dusty did over 10,000 rats. Dusty has always been more than fair with me on my fur. I called him today about how my coyotes graded from montana and he just laughed at me. Of course i got the comment "well I would have at least paid you what they are worth". I'm happy to be able to call him a friend
