It's a Triumph trap.
The early Triumph's had the "T" cut in the pan as shown

Cool thanks guys is there any value to it? Those "T" pans were on the early #0, #1, #1&1/2, #2, #3 and #4 Triumph long-springs and are rare. I am not sure what size is shown (possibly #1 size), but that is a collector trap. If it's a #1 or #1&1/2, in its present condition it's probably worth around $30. If it will clean up and has a fully readable pan more. If it's a #0 it would be worth considerably more than the #1 or #1&1/2.
