;DThat is if you want to call it that-Yesterday checked a net I put in on Sunday wanted to catch a couple for the freezer ended up with 6 -4 were over 25lbs --Today I pulled the net 8 more 1 was 15 the rest were all over 25lbs the biggest was 35... going to butcher this Sunday if anyone wants to show up will send you home with some meat[free] call ahead and I will fire up the grill Catman will tell you I do know how to cook, lol, BTW bring your own cooler-D-

Dont know much about soup , but I am going to throw about 5lbs in the pressure cooker and bake - now theres so good eatin --I am looking at a little over 200lbs of dressed, my fishin buddy came over this morning and picked up 40 I had froze in ice from last yr.-sure would be nice to have you boys over-D-

Durn....been butcher turtles since 10 Oclock this morning ,gettin kinda sorta tired think the last 3 going to wait till tomorrow 2 coolers full of iced down meat didnt remember it taking this long ---age is catchin up lo-D-

Glad to hear your stackin them up D! Turtle is one interesting critter to eat as they have many different flavors depending on the part eaten... Snapping turtle meat can be delicious if the turtles are cleaned properly, the meat tenderized and prepared with a good recipe. Don't let their looks deceive you.

Thanks Forrest-Had the boys over [3] they chowed down on 20lbs cooked plus the trimmins ...guess I can still cook lol ,,Ended up 204 lbs of meat thought there was more so my guess was a little off--D-

Our turtle season doesn't open until july 1st, but I'll be out there setting some lines when it does.

We dont have a season , just did a deal with beaverfoot that boys makes some nice nets.. think I screwed up buying some 36?in had over 100 lbs- 2 days in a row in a 30in lo---D-

I make turtle soup for the fish to eat. Shoot them in the pond with my AR little fish sure eat the pieces left over
