Anyone know if you got to cut off the lips, nose and whiskers now?I was told this buy a local buyer.I don't know anything about it..
1-Now if that is done the guys use'n hoops would have a rough time.Or I would think so.
2- Now that you lost a 1 to 1.5 inches off the pelt does that mean they are getting more for less?
I got a Xl here.If I cut the nose and all off they pay for a large...That almost sound fishy!!!!!!!
Thanks....Frank

Yes you cut the nose and whiskers off! they even want the ears cut out on large or better! If we knew how they truly measured our beaver in the first place it would help but not knowing this are you really loosing that 1.5? i have found doing beaver this way i really dont loose much if any.

Last time I checked, they were measured from the eyes anyways. It does make the put up a lot easier and makes them look better.

Frank I cut all wiskers, nose, and ears off. I have a boarding beaver video in here somewhere. Depending upon who you sell to, beaver are measured either top to bottom, plus side to side; or diagonally from leg hole to leg hole going both directions. If you use boards frank, you will notice that the rings are dead on inbetween sizes. Loosing an inch somewhere doesn't necessarily mean you will lose a size. You will also like the look of a full fur from tip to tip. I hope this helps.!
