We caught a otter in one of Bill's stake sets, in a 1.5 duke. don't know what a big otter is but this one is 47 in. from tip to tip, we think he is big. I'm at work for a couple hours, will post a pic. later Man that stake set will catch any thing.

that set i worked on the angle of the stake to cut back on trap placement and as you can see it's works on ANY THING THAT WORKS THAT SET with out worrying about different trap placements.the angle pulls the animal close to the trap ..the lure placement is just as important as they animal reaches out to smell the lure it forces the animal closer to the base of the stake but at the same time keeps the nose off the ground level away from the trap giving it the perfect catching sets for all species.

Set was on a pond dike, knew otter were around but set was for a fox, didn't expect to catch a otter in a urine post set.
