I used to be in the Lure business years ago.I only quit because I had imported stuff I could no longer get,but anyway I have tried everything I could possibly try for a Lure or Liquid Bait holder and corn cob soaks the scent up and holds it forever and ever.Used ole dry cow chips a lot but CORN COB is the best I ever found.
After they harvest the corn,I get my 2 ~5 gallon buckets and pick some up every year.If any body wants to try them I will give you some.Take a corn cob and cut it thirds or however you like and that way your corn cobs go further.Email me for details.LarryGene

I use them quite often. I like to use them with a liquid bait. Hollow out the center of the cob and use a dropper and fill it up. Like to use them in dirtholes and also bury them in flat sets so the top of the cob is flush with the ground. I believe it makes the coyotes dig around just a little bit longer.

Huh.. I'll have to try that, just been using Q-tips, fur and sticks. But corn cob, sounds like a real good idea. Will have to get ahold of some and start testing
