Do you have a lot of Red Fox?. Looks like you have no shortage of rabbits.

I know a chap who catches about 70 Foxes a season he only does it weekends and Friday evening through the season and he skins a few of them and I think that he may sell them on EBAY But I am not sure . Fur is often debated in the UK and I think that people who deal in skins prefer to stay under the Radar . I have put this picture up because I may not find it again as I have a new computer and I do not know where anything is . What it shows is good snare placement , the snare is set exactly in the centre of what we call a BEAT.

I am 69 now and have done it all my life ,my Grandpa was a Gamekeeper on a large estate and part of his job was to kill Foxes and kill rabbits , the rabbits were sold for meat and me and my sister used to prepare them for sale , the bulk of them would go to the Cattle Market to be sold Afew from a couple of years back .

They look good. Is that twine just to hold the snare?

, It is a heap of spent mushroom compost about 300 yards long , it is very hard to get a fixing in it that will hold so I tie the wire to what ever is available. Some times I will cover the trail a board cover it with compost then place a BG on trail legs at either end this works very well but the real killing ground is the fence at the bottom of the last picture and when I can find the pictures I will show how I catch them there in ways you will be very familiar with.,

You should do a YouTube video on your snare set up

I find it hard to put pictures up , never mind a video ., Some years ago I was in a short piece of film for TV no blood no killing and every thing must be seen to walk away , I did allof this and when it was edited I looked good , it was binned as barbarick.
