Chunked in about three inch sections coated with Louisiana fish fry tastes great. A bit on the chewy side, but it tasted great.

Well, I've found that some things that don't look yummy are actually palatable. 😋 I've eaten python over here in Ghana, but I would liken that experience to chewing on tire rubber.

Jbrown i hope you didnt find that out the hard way. I did hear of other people having the same reactions. How do you fair with seafoods?

I ate it that way, its good, a little chuey, but add some hot sauce and you got a fine meal

Jbrown i hope you didnt find that out the hard way. I did hear of other people having the same reactions. How do you fair with seafoods? I did.. in a restraunt. With a EMS crew and a tube in my throat so I could breath I'm ok with seafood.. in the service I traveled all over abroad and had most everything I now AVOID gator/turtle/snake per dr direction

No dout that was scarry. Nothing worse than not being able to breath.definalty stay away from that stuff!

I love to coat rattlers in egg and seasoned bread crumbs and fry it in a skillet with butter!
I used to hunt rattlers in the mountains here in central, pa and I always found some big tasty ones.
