I have had some rats in my shed lately so I put some #1 longs in there to catch them. I opened the door today and there he was Mr possum. First time catching one indoors.

When I first started trapping I was catching every possum in Crawford county so I went to talk to a man who has been trapping longer than I’ve been alive I asked him how do I stop catching them he said take all your traps and throw them in a pile on a metal roof building and grease the whole roof so them possums can’t get any traction to get in your traps

I found the best way to catch them is make a really pretty fox set - you know the kind you just know will take a fox on the first nite, after you spent 15 minutes making just like them pro trappers - next morning you got it- D-

In past seasons we picked up several a year then distemper came through and knocked the heck out of the skunks and coons that year I got 35+. I check the ADC ones for pups and they average about 9 right up there with the skunk counts.

Fastest animal in the world.
They beat everything else to your sets.

You would think the good lord made them for a good reason, someday I hope to find out why.

They say they eat ticks but the last litter I raised were covered with ticks so that seems like BS to me! Attachments:
