In my latest auction finds were two double long springs. They are of about #3 size with a wide cross frame. The most distinguishing characteristic is that both the dog post and pan post can be adjusted with a bolt. The springs have a strange "ear" on them and no stamps on the pan. Anyone have a clue what these are? I would like to know if they have any value before I start welding on them.

Need a pic to see what you might have.

I've been having trouble posting pics from my phone. I will try to get on the computer this weekend and try from there.

Couldn't get pics up, but did clean the pan enough to read. Seems to be a couple of pioneer #4's. I only have one pan between the two of them and not a very legible one. The pan can be adjusted or removed from the panpost with a set screw.
