Keep in mind when you install a Wildlife Cam Out in the woods,YOU MAY not be the only one around!! Fellows we need to think about making that Wildlife Cam more work to STEAL than its worth:
First of all,the bolt thru on the back side of the camera needs to be where you tighten the nut on the video cam side,in other words the head of the bolt needs to be on the outside of the wood. This way there is NO way to loosen the nut and RUN off with the Camnera!!
Second~This post you mount this all to,needs to be CEMENTED into the ground, after all what is $2.50 per bag of cement for Keeping you $80 plus or a lot more,, camera in your possession!! Dig The Hole deep enough, put the post in and this way they can't steel it,NO one will go to this length, hopefully! Bolt it,Cement it,air~craft cable it,what ever it takes, but all you need to do is unlock it with a key,and if you can figure a way to put a piece of pipe over the lock to keep them from cutting the lock, hey post your idea on here and lets makes this the place to be!!
