Mine is about a 1/10th that size and not near as neat LOL. Sometimes i don't even make a mound, i just put castor somewhere and they come investigate. I say you did well!!

Now looking at that mound you can see clearly that it is a 10, if you could smell it that is.
* A little chewed beaver stick for sight appeal * Mound of mud with some leaves ect in it, not real fancy * Away from the water line, but close enough to be seen and smelled
This is, in fact, a castor mound my son and i found last weekend. No other trappers in the area and season has wrapped up anyway. What I found the most interesting was the smell. Not that it was unusual, but the loudness of it was. I heap the castor onto my sets and this mound had just a hint. I should go back I suppose and see if another beaver has destroyed it yet, if so, mayhaps I can cut back on the lure usage! Nah.....
